  • 1️⃣AGAIN!!! Jeans and t shirt on stage in conneticut ... i’m TIRED by this point only 7 (of 26) shows left and it might as well be 50. But @javiercolon was SUCH an inspiration. 2️⃣The hand made Mortar and Pestle I bought in Portland Maine ... random to you maybe but I LOOVE glass and I love mortar and pestles // so thiis basically had my NAME ON IT LOL (btw, inside is frankincense from Ethiopia thank you @grampsmorgan and copal resin. ) 3️⃣Pittsburg REALLY surprised me. The city the audince .... when an audience keeps siging I AM LIGHT like that ... I KNOW im’ with my people. 4️⃣The MOST intriguing building! //// in downtown Pittsburg .. isn it SOMETHING ? 5️⃣Capitol Jazz Fest made me work SO HARD LOL! ( and at the END Of the tour) I think they were hot? I dont know .. but we got em ROCKIN! From this moment on ! LOL 6️⃣FINAL SHOW AT THE BEACON!!! I danced ON STAGE for my encore lol ... 💫And I DANCED OFF STAGE for my exit! 7️⃣And RIGHT into the ARMS of one fo my MOST important influences // MISS ROBERTA FLACK ~ she’s in a wheel chair these days and she STAYED to see me 😍 8️⃣after tyring on MANY names LOL named my band “THIS IS US” and this is us at the wrap party. I didnt go to sleep at all that night. i packed and took a flight home. 9️⃣and a WEEK later // I ended the tour wher I started it ....
  • 1️⃣All the while on tour I’m working closely with the director on the video edit. These are my FAVORITE teasers. 2️⃣Faaaaavotire behind the scenes moment of #steadylove video. 3️⃣FINALLY THE WORST DAY OF THE ENTIRE TOUR ... a BUNCH of mess, I’m settled into the four seasons chicago // and THAT DAY i had to move hotels AND we drive to Milwaukee for the concert. 4️⃣We premiered the #steadylove video! ... and I sat on stage and watched with the audience! When you see me wearing JEANS on stage you KNOW ... i’m feelign some kind o way. Iwas SOOOOO tired. The show was very unique and dope show. 5️⃣Finally we have the Hammond Indianna show (chicago) and it was REALLY dope // and my voice is getting tired. Again CHANGING CLOTHES! LOL 6️⃣After Missing an show in the Indianapolis area for vocal rest (people; were soooooo mad at me) ... we finally went to Lexington Kentucky // and again changing clothes ... I wore my plain ( and FLY) white summer dress and red flip flops. And had the BEST, RELAXED time. It was a #beautifulsurprise tp realize after all these years, beautiful surprise is a soulbird favorite. 7️⃣VIP meet and Greet time lapse - I did this before EVERY SHOW! I took THOUSANDS of pictures. 8️⃣WE FINALLY Head to the NORTHEAST and in Conneticut @javiercolon jonis the TOUR!! He is the BEEEEEEEST! Carolina on my mind my james taylor. 9️⃣Me and @javiercolon in tory NYC singing #heartofthematter // he also joined us in Portland Maine.

Genes ALBUM TUNNEL VISION // is COMING! Go to itunes NOW AND ORDER! Now! Lol 5. My OTHER opening act @mpolinar // is Quite PERFECT. In the podcast I couldnt rememebr the name of our remake / duet ... IT IS: FRAGILE (originally recorded by Sting and Stevie Wonder) THIS and all of her other music is available on I tunes ... GORGEOUS records. 6. @jamison_ross IS A GREAT. Mark my words. I invited him to open shows just to SEE him. Lol 7. @cardazzle // Carvena Jones IS BRILLIANT!! She opened for us in New Orleans ... SHE is something VERY special. And not just her voice, but her heart and mind. 8. AUSTIN TEXAS // the audience was MY PEOPLE, so I sprayed my @doterra rosemary oils RIGHT on stage! Lol ... I NEVER do that😆 9. And FINALLY ... we leave the south for Chicago .... and after an AWFUuuuuuuul travel day ... THE WORST HOTEL experienceE EVER! // sunrise from my Suite at the #chicago #fourseasons THANK you for being a safe haven.
